Hey everybody! Welcome to the verge of the weekend. I hope you enjoyed Week-2 of Knock Knock: New Music! If you haven't checked that out yet, there are some great new songs from Superorganism and Kimbra waiting for your headphones to fire-up. Kimbra opens her world tour this Sunday at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. I can't wait to see that!

Fridays are usually a big release day for the music industry. This week we see the self-titled debut LP release from London's Dream Wife. We chatted about these three girls from Iceland & Somerset, England last week. Their brand of punk, pop, girl power, and fun is steadily gaining steam. Advance reviews from New Music Express (NME) and NPR are gushing about the new record and I have to say I'm with them as well! I also mentioned last week, that we were likely to see more LIVE shows from Dream Wife here in the U.S. very soon and whaddya know? They're now playing a slate of shows with Brooklyn band Sunflower Bean (a great newer act in their own right,) with a
May 3rd performance at Sonia (formerly TT the Bear's) in Cambridge, MA. Sign me up! I'll see you there.
Some other albums coming out today that might interest you include:
Nightmares On Wax - "Shape The Future"
The 8th release from English DJ/Electronic composer, George Evelen. I first encountered his music a few years ago after instructing Pandora to create a station based on DePhazz and
Calexico - "The Thread That Keeps Us"
The 10th full-length album from the Arizona desert indie-duo
Ty Segall - "Freedom's Goblin"
Garage Rock galore from Laguna Beach, California. His 10th album!
Have a great weekend! See you on Monday for Week-3 of Knock Knock: New Music!
